Lucidica has been a proud partner of the Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) for many years. This partnership gives us the chance to attend cricket matches, be close to the action, and share unforgettable moments with fellow fans.

But our collaboration with the PCA goes far beyond enjoying the sport we love. At its core, our partnership serves a much greater purpose: supporting PCA members during and beyond their playing careers.

Watching these remarkable athletes perform on the field is inspiring but helping them take meaningful steps in real life, build something of their own, and succeed beyond cricket is even more rewarding. And this is exactly why our partnership with the PCA aligns so strongly with Lucidica’s values.

We believe in people, in potential, and in empowering individuals to thrive with the right technology. That’s where the heart of our relationship truly lies.

How Lucidica Helps Cricketers Thrive

Our partnership combines two worlds: high-performance sport and high-quality technology. From delivering reliable IT solutions to helping players transition into business ventures, it continues to grow each year.

Many professional athletes look to entrepreneurship to prepare for life after sport. That’s where Lucidica steps in.

We help PCA cricketers by providing various useful discounted services around these areas, but not limited to them:

  • Starting and scaling their businesses – Free website building and productivity tools
  • Cybersecurity and data protection – 6 months free cyber training
  • Ongoing IT support – 1 year free support

The PCA Futures Awards 2025

Once again, this year, a group of talented and ambitious cricketers took part in the awards. Fi Morris won the 2025 PCA Futures Awards for the creation of her new probiotic skincare brand for athletes, ProSkn by FINA. Former Essex bowler, Kelly Castle, was runner-up in the Lifelong Learning category.

Both athletes earned special prizes from Lucidica to support the growth of their businesses. We are proud to contribute to their journey and help them take the next steps in turning their ideas into successful ventures.

Fi Morris

Fi Morris has been a professional cricketer for six years, and she is currently playing for Lancashire and Manchester Originals. Talking about what drove her to launch her skincare brand, she said that over the last few years, she has had “struggles with acne and breakouts which I assumed were associated with sweaty helmets, sun exposure, or over-washing.”

Nine months ago, she proposed the idea of skincare for athletes to her sister Nina, who owns a cosmetics business. Morris said that her sister loved the idea and they  “set about creating something that caters to our specific needs: an SPF moisturiser that rebuilds the skin barrier to protect us from the elements, sweat-proof, fast-absorbing, and all in one bottle to throw in a gym bag.”

Over the last few months, Morris and her sister have been building ProSkn and are currently in the process of testing and perfecting their products for launch in 2026.

On winning the free website build, Morris shared that they are “more confident than ever that we have a great product that could grow into a really successful business. Being an e-commerce brand, we are so excited to collaborate with Lucidica, as having a great website is essential to bringing our product to life. We are really looking forward to seeing where ProSkn can go!”

Lucidica shares this sentiment, and we look forward to seeing ProSkn grow.

Kelly Castle

Kelly Castle’s cricket journey began when she was 12 years old. “I was introduced to the sport for the very first time at primary school. I’d never played before, and no one in my family had any connection to cricket, but that initial experience quickly sparked something. Our all-girls team went on to reach the national finals at Headingley, and despite early barriers, that moment played a huge part in shaping my determination to continue”, Castle said.

She went on to join Essex at 13 years old and became a regular in the senior side by 14. Since then, she has been part of the England pathway, captained Essex and Sunrisers, and became one of the first professional female cricketers in England, as well as the most-capped player for Essex. Along the way, she has continued to push for equality in the game and for better opportunities for women and girls in sport.

Now, Castle is moving into the next stage of her career. She is expanding into coaching and will be launching the Kelly Castle Cricket Academy in 2026. She explained that this is a “chance for me to pass on my experience, support the next generation, and help create an environment where players can grow, learn, and believe in what’s possible.”

Lucidica has awarded Castle with a business-grade laptop and a 12-month software subscription to support her in her new endeavour. She shared that this will be “essential in setting up my coaching programmes and running the digital side of my business.’’

Continuing the Journey Together

Our partnership with the PCA is more than a sponsorship. It is a shared mission to empower athletes in sport, in business, and in life. As Fi Morris, Kelly Castle, and many others continue to shape their futures, Lucidica will stand beside them as a trusted technology partner.
