Azure Cloud Services

You need reliable and cost-effective ways to run your business. That’s where Microsoft Azure comes in.

No matter what you need — backup, disaster recovery, hosting, or security — Azure is the go to place for your business goals.

What is Microsoft Azure?

Microsoft Azure is a fast, secure, and reliable cloud platform that can optimize your business. We’re passionate about the cloud, and we’re here to make it easier for you to move forward.

Our cloud service helps companies manage the challenges of a growing business in a competitive market. You can use Azure to build, run, and manage applications across multiple clouds, on-premises, or at the edge.

Compute

Azure compute provides computing resources on demand and are responsible for hosting and running the application web loads. The application provides processors, memory, storage and operating systems and can be configured with public IP addresses, depending on whether the resource needs to be accessible to the world.

Web

Azure web allows you to build, deploy and run web services from azure using a fully managed cloud platform. With azure web, you can create websites, deploy content and code into websites – with web apps running on various frameworks and written in different programming languages.

Integration

Azure Integration Services helps businesses connect apps and services on-premises to their existing cloud deployments without the need for new, expensive hardware. In addition, it provides a consistent serverless compute experience that enables customers to easily connect applications and data in the cloud and on-premises for modern, digital transformation.

Databases

The Azure Database as a Service (DBaaS) means there are more options for your business needs. You can choose from SQL and NoSQL offerings, as well as other database instances like Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Database for PostgreSQL. The platform also offers Azure SQL Data Warehouse support, caching and hybrid database integration, and migration features. Azure SQL is the flagship database service.

Identity

When users try to log in, you must protect them. Azure identity management tools help businesses protect against malicious login attempts and safeguard credentials. Azure's risk-based access controls, identity protection tools and strong authentication options allow you to defend against hackers and keep users safe. Services also include support for Azure Active Directory and multi-factor authentication.

Intune

Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based service for mobile and PC management. Mobile devices from iOs, Android and Windows phone can be added to your Intune account, where security policies and mobile apps can be enforced. Microsoft Intune controls how your organization’s devices are used including laptops, mobile phones, tablets and laptops. With Intune, you can provide your organization with the ability to access applications, data and resources from virtually anywhere, on any device, while keeping corporate data safe.

Security

Azure security offers you capabilities to identify and respond to cloud security threats, as well as manage encryption keys and other sensitive assets. Security is an important concern if you use the cloud. Trust is built through transparency and by offering customers more control. Azure Security Centre helps you understand, audit, and secure your applications on both virtual machines in the cloud and on-premises systems. High-level dashboard and intelligent alerts give you visibility into the security of Azure's services and protect against attacks from all angles.

Analytics

Microsoft Azure provides a variety of different analytics, similar to other cloud-based systems. Azure analytics are on-demand data analytics that simplifies big data. It's an integrated analytics platform that combines data warehousing, big data analytics, data integration, and visualization into a single environment. With Azure analytics, businesses can gain insights into all their structured and unstructured data in order to make better decisions.

Azure Networking

Azure networking is a group of virtual networks, dedicated connections and gateways. It also has traffic management and diagnostics. It can load balance, DNS host and protect against DDoS attacks making your network strong and easy to manage.
Azure-Storage

Azure Storage is designed to be massively scalable to meet the data storage and performance needs of today’s applications. Azure handles hardware maintenance, updates, and critical issues for you. It’s flexible for files you want to collaborate on, videos, documents, backups, databases, and pictures.

azure-backup-and-disaster-recovery

Azure, as a cloud-based solution, is inherently adaptable — it can back up your data in practically any language, on any operating system, and from any place. You also have control over the frequency and scope of your backup schedule.
Tape backup has its place, but as a stand-alone backup and disaster recovery solution, it is restricted.

Azure site recovery can boost your tape backup by providing remote replication, little onsite maintenance, up to 99 years of data retention, almost no capital investment, and low operational costs. Azure backup holds three copies of your data in three separate locations within the data centre, as well as three more copies in a remote Azure data centre, ensuring that you never lose data.

azure-active-directory

Azure can work with your Active Directory to complement your identity and access control capabilities, giving your DNS a global reach, centralised management, and high security.

You may use Azure to deliver a direct connect-enabled Active Directory infrastructure globally. Azure is the only cloud provider that can extend the scope of your domain controller while also consolidating AD management.
If you have several locations or utilise on-premise or cloud applications such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory integration with Azure will be the key tool for managing and maintaining access to all of these applications.
