Apple Launches New Track Pad

Apple has released a giant track pad for use with your desktop. It connects wirelessly (over Bluetooth) and allows multi-touch gestures on your computer.

The thing that’s slightly odd about this move is that not very many people would choose to use a track pad on a laptop if they had a mouse. So why would you replace the ubiquitous mouse with a touch pad thus slowing you down?

It looks great, and fits perfectly against your keyboard, maybe it will herald in new interactivity with your Mac and increased options on gesture driven input, if not it seems like a bizarre move from Cupertino.
